This thick rolled steel tank is coated with feroglas which ensures high resistance against corrosion, making the water heater tough on hard water & giving them a longer life. The tank has an anode rod with a stainless-steel core that is designed to protect the tank from corrosive elements. It is an electrical safety device, it is there to ensure double protection. It turns the water heater OFF if the heating doesnt stop even after 100 C, in case of any malfunctioning of thermostat. CFC free high density PUF insulation prevents heat loss.
